Dallas Arboretum Engagement Photos

Ryan’s surprise engagement proposal to Jessica at the Dallas Arboretum. Ryan and Jessica have been together for a few years. They moved from California to Texas recently and Ryan wanted to make their engagement official with a proposal.

Jessica’s mom reached out to me via Instagram and asked if I was available to capture this moment for them. One of the things is that they had already booked me for their wedding next year. I was a little afraid that Jessica would recognize me when they arrived and of course she did. At that point, she had a feeling of what was about to happen. It was still a complete surprise for her and she cried. She was so happy and emotional, but he officially proposed and she said Yes!

After the proposal, we walked around the Dallas Arboretum and took a few engagement photos of the two of them. It was quite hot since this was in August and well if you live in the Dallas area you know how August weather can be. They managed through the heat and a little bit of sweat and we completed their engagement session.
