Wedding Day Love Story
Melissa and Dorian's love story began at the airport. That is where they met and years later they united in marriage.
On their wedding day, it rained, but the rain didn't stop the couple and their family and friends from gathering and celebrating their wedding day. They had a beautiful wedding ceremony and they included a memorial candle for Melissa's father. He was remembered throughout the day of the wedding. At the reception, the mariachi sang one of his favorite songs. Melissa had a slideshow playing with photos of her and her dad growing up. One of the moments was the two of them dancing together and in that time she also did a dance with each of her brothers. It was a touching moment and emotional as well. You could feel the love throughout the day that their family and friends have for this wonderful couple.
A few of my favorite moments were their couples' portrait session and then the overall fun of the reception. It was filled with a lot of dancing, laughter, joy, and even tears. There were many great moments to capture and memories for the couple to remember years down the road.

The Milestone Denton wedding venue is a Southern Mansion with a lot of charm. This venue includes a ceremony room, reception hall, beautiful staircase, and bridal / groom suites. The Milestone has a beautiful landscape with a gorgeous gazebo and dock overlooking a pond. The outdoor patio is perfect for cocktail hour, portraits, and to use during the reception to hangout or catch some fresh air.
