Intimate Micro Wedding | Fort Worth, TX

Jackie and Jared's Wedding Day

Intimate micro wedding in Fort Worth, TX with Jackie and Jared. During the Covid-19 pandemic many couples are looking for a way to celebrate their love and get married.

I've spoken to couples in the past few months and one of the things that has been unanimous among them is that they tell me we just want to get married. Therefore, some couples are choosing to have an elopement style wedding or a more intimate, micro wedding. An elopement wedding is usually the couple and their officiant and photo / video team. A micro wedding is a smaller scale wedding. Some micro weddings tend to have 50 or less guests and it can be a little more laid back or casual reception.

In Jackie and Jared's case they opted for an intimate wedding with about 20 guests. Their ceremony and reception was held at a venue in north Fort Worth called Roots. They had it setup for a family style dinner with a long kings men style table setup and candles across the center. They did have a first dance, gave a couple of speeches, parent dances and cut the cake. I was with the couple and their family for about four hours total.
